Our
Greenway
While
the Sand Creek Regional Greenway trail is now usable, the
Greenway will be under construction over the next five to
seven years. When it is completed it will include:
Three
new parks, one each in Aurora, Commerce City, and Denver
Multiple
trailheads to accommodate cars, horse trailers and horses
Neighborhood
trail links to existing and new neighborhoods in the three
cities
Amenities
such as restrooms, water fountains, benches, shelters and
picnic tables
Preserved
and enhanced natural areas and wildlife habitats
Interpretive
signs
Environmental
programs
